In A Perfect World

Welcome to my blog, Happy Easter everyone, I hope you all have a good Easter holiday.
It's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Fantasy And Magical'   As with all my scene style cards I started with the background, using Distress Inks and creating a moon.  I then placed my fairy and unicorn, grounded them and then went on to build the scene.  And of course some sparkle, you can't have a fairy and a unicorn with out that sparkly fairy dust.

We have sponsorship this Month from

'be Creative!'

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Springtime'  I started this one by masking off around the edges, I used Distress Oxides with a stencil brush to do the background.  Then I stamped the images from the 'Thistle Butterfly set', and coloured them with pencils and highlighted with a Posca pen.  The sentiment is from a set from Chocolate Baroque called 'Life Is So Much Better' and it has two lines to it but I masked the bottom line off and just stamped the first line.

Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.

As always two super cards Tracy, lots of atmosphere going in in the Lavinia scene and pretty fresh Spring colours on your CB make. Glad to see it's not just me that mixes and matches bits of sentiments, hakes for great versatility.

Happy Easter.

Two beautiful cards. The second one almost looks like a watercolour painting - so pretty.

Oh how I love them both Tracy, the first is like a page from a childhood book how delightful it is and the second like looking out of a window on a late spring day. Both piece's of art to be framed, amazing creations.
Thank you for the inspiration, creative wishes Tracey x
