The Wonders Of Nature

Welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Animals, Birds & Bugs'
I don't know where to start with this creation, I've thrown everything at it to create this scene.  I actually started this one a little bit different by stamping the Bumble lodge first then masking it to do my inky background.  Then I coloured the lodge with pencils, then I started to build the scene with the various stamps, to see what I have used you can see in the recipe at the bottom of this post.  I added glitter for sparkle and some gold gel pen and white for highlights.

We have sponsorship this Month from

Stamp Addicts

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Anything Autumn'
I started this by using Distress inks and applying them with stencil brushes to give a blended background.  I had put a moon mask on first, I then stamped the trees and sentiment. I shaded below the trees to give some shadow.

Two prizes this time:-
A £15 voucher to spend at Chocolate Baroque stamps and a Goody Bag, We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.

Two stunners Tracy, your CB share has a real feel of calm in the Autumnal colours. But as you might guess it's Bumble Lodge that is drawing me in, it has to be my fav stamp from the latest Lavinia release and your scene is lovely with all the little animals and creatures.

Wow, your colouring on the Bumble lodge is awesome, it has a fab 3D look! Amazing background and constructed landscape, always love your Lavinia's scenes!! The white gel pen details are a wonderful touch.
Your card for WLCB looks so warm and joyful, fab colours and love the light texture given by the brushes

Your first card is just stunning, you have created such depth in that background and your colouring of the little house. there are some wonderful little details too. By contrast, I love the simplicity of your second card and that wonderful stippled effect on the background with those blended colours. Brilliant xx

How did you do the background of your first card? It looks more than just sprayed on but just trying to figure it out. Amazing first card and the buildup of the scene is exceptional. I love it.
Your 2nd card is also just so pretty and peaceful with the autumn colours.
