I have popped by to share a couple of creations from August's show for Chocolate Baroque, for the first one I used the Word Strip 2 stamp set. I started by doing an inky background in Distress Oxides, then stamped the background strip first in light blue, it has circles in it which I hoped looked like falling snow. Then in a darker blue I stamped the words which are lots of Christmas words. I then added some glitter to the word Christmas to finish it off.
For my second card I used the stamp The Tree Of The Knowledge, starting with the background using Distress Oxides and a mask I created some hills, I used a mask to create a sun in yellow and orange Distress Oxides. I then moved onto the sky using a cloud mask, before stamping my main image. I stamped the tree in Versafine Clair, and with a white gel pen coloured in the fruit/blossoms. I added the sentiment to the bottom.
Here are some samples from last months shows for Chocolate Baroque. Well I had fun making this card, I started with a strip of card and using four colours in Versafine Clair I stamped up the Word Strip 2 Birthday, to create the balloons I used the stamp set From Nature 2, I took the smallest leaf and stampede it in each of the colours above the stamp strip. Using gel pens in the same colour I drew a triangle on the base of the leaf to turn it into a balloon. I then did a squiggly line for string, to finish I did polka dots all over the card to look like confetti.
To create this card I started with a Gel Plate, using a brayer I put some ink down on the plate. Then splashed with Brusho's and pressed it down on my base card. I took the Tree Of Knowledge stamp and stamped it into the middle of the circle, I coloured it and then using a red glaze pen coloured some apples on to it.

I absolutely love this image from Harebell Butterfly set that I used for my second creation, I started this one by stamping my image then using Distress Oxide and a stencil brush I added some ink around the image, I coloured the image using Aqua pencils then adding water to blend. I very lightly drew with a pencil a rectangle with a ruler to frame it. I went around the pencil line free hand so's not to have an exact straight line with a fine liner. Using the Oxides I did a matching backing paper to matt and layer on.
Thank you for looking, I will be coming back at the end of the month with a couple more samples.

This is my first post for July, and I'm here to show you some samples from our June's shows on Create & Craft for Chocolate Baroque. We had lots of fabulous stamps to use and my first creation was made using the stamp set Paisley Elephant. I started by doing an inky background then stamping around the edge with versamark a paisley worker stamp and embossing in gold powder. I stamped the main image of the elephant and stamped it again as a mirror image using a gel plate. I coloured them in distress inks, fussy cut them and them mounted them onto my background.
For my second creation I used a stencil to create backgrounds, first on my base card then on my topper. Using a corner stamp from Christmas Tweetings I stamped them back to back and then facing each other to make this image. I rounded the corners and matted and layered to finish off.
See you for my next post

Everything was layered onto black card, and the only coloured ink was a Distress Oxide, I kept to just one colour for this project to keep a subtle look.
Thank you for looking and see you next month here on the blog for some more new projects.

For my second creation I started by stamping the wall from the Out Of The Tees Elements, I stamped another on some masking paper and covered the original, with the masking paper over the wall I stamped the train in place then stamped that onto masking paper too. Now that both my main elements were in place I started to create my scene. Using Distress oxides I created a hill, I then used the trees along the hill line, then behind the wall. for the foreground I stamped foliage from the Walk tall stamp set. I removed my masking paper and coloured my main elements.
I will look forward to later in the month when I will share with you a couple more makes from these shows

Hello lovely people, thought I would share my creation with you, and this was made for my Mum for Mother's Day. I started with a Lavinia Gel plate the Squarelee, I brayered and sponged some Colorbox inks onto it to create my background, and using a Lavinia moon mask I created a moon and then stamped some tiny stars. I stamped my Hares next, then built up my scene with foliage stamps. I could not give this to my mum without Fairies on as she loves them so on went some Fairy Foragers.
